Mission: Crisis on the Frontier 4X01
Location: Treys Quarters
Timeline: current

Trey was feeling a little addled. He didn't know whether it was the "bluegill" stuff. All those deflector mods having a less than desired effect, or what. He just felt out of sorts. Inwardly he was sort of kicking himself too. He researched the buegill in the database and all he saw was "take person against their will." Which, given his past was to be expected.

He didn't want to. But it was sort of hard to escape. But he'd already decided to give it a try. He'd had a breakthrough in a recent counseling session and he would hate to erase it.

"Computer dim all lights save from around my desk." he ordered. And it was done. He got out his pad and continued work on a self portrait he'd been working on The picture was nearly complete so Trey just went to working with the image he had in his head.

Either he was in the zone with his process or he didn't notice but he'd finished the picture with one noteable omission.

Which came to Trey's surprise as well. He rubbed his face. Which confirmed his implant was still there. Only it wasn't on the page.

"Do I correct it?" he asked himself as he looked at it. He continued to look at it. Then after a while a light bulb went off.

""Naw, It looks fine as it is. It's just what my face is without the Borg crap. Trey is Trey." he said.

"What a minute, that actually makes a certain amount of sense. Picture is me, I am me. The Borg sure as heck isn't. It's just a memory. This is my face."

He facepalmed. He closed his pad up and decided to go to the lounge and celebrate. For no other reason than to just do it.
